7th Inning
Nolan Gorman singled, and Luken Baker walked. Thomas Saggese then ripped a two-out double into the left-field corner, scoring both runners to tie the game at 3-3.

JoJo Romero struck out one before giving up a single to Lindor and a walk to Soto. Phil Maton entered, struck out Alonso, but gave up an RBI single to Nimmo, putting the Mets back ahead 4-3.
8th Inning
Luisangel Acuña and Taylor hit back-to-back doubles off Ryan Fernandez, making it 5-3. A walk and fielder’s choice put two on for Soto, who smacked a two-run double to center, extending the lead to 7-3.
9th Inning
Michael Siani singled, advanced on fielder’s indifference and scored on Lars Nootbaar’s RBI single—his first hit of the weekend. However, it wasn't enough as the Mets win 7-4 and take the series sweep.

Sonny Gray threw a season-high 102 pitches. He entered the game 4-0 with a 2.31 ERA in four career starts vs. the Mets.
The Cardinals went just 4-for-27 with runners in scoring position, struck out 43 times and recorded just 24 hits during the series.
St. Louis is 1-9 in its first 10 road games of the season. The only worse start came in 1960, when the team opened 0-10 on the road.
