Randy Karraker is an institution in St. Louis media.
A distinctive voice heard for decades on talk radio that is instantly recognized by fans of all ages!
Most recently, Randy applied his tremendous passion for sports, his unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and his amazing mass appeal to listeners of The Opening Drive, with Brooke Grimsley and Dan McLaughlin, every weekday morning on 101 ESPN! This Missouri Sportscaster of the Year and Achievement in Radio award winner is a veteran St. Louis talent and was the host of the highest rated morning talk show in St. Louis.
A lifelong St. Louis sports fan, Randy promised listeners of his afternoon show, The Fast Lane, many years ago that if the Blues ever won the Stanley Cup, he’d get a tattoo to commemorate it. When the Blues clinched the Cup, and a spot in Randy’s heart as his favorite sports moment ever, he made good on his promise and now has a tattoo on his back.
Randy is a member of the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame, the Lindenwood University Athletics Hall of Fame, and the Parkway Alumni Association Hall of Fame.
A lifelong St. Louisan, Randy is involved with numerous charities including Every Child’s Hope, Folds of Honor, Code 3 Response, and Father’s Support Center.
