Denmark’s Thomas Bjørn capped off a storybook week at Norwood Hills Country Club, sinking a 35-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to defeat Australia’s Cameron Percy and claim the 2025 Stifel Charity Classic.
The 54-year-old earned his first individual PGA TOUR Champions title and second victory of the season, joining his win at the American Family Insurance Championship. Remarkably, Bjørn was a sponsor exemption in St. Louis just last year, finishing T60, before returning to capture the trophy in 2025.
With the win, Bjørn becomes the sixth multiple winner of the season and climbs to No. 6 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. He is now 1-for-1 in PGA TOUR Champions playoffs.
Bjørn closed with a 4-under 67 to reach 12-under 201, matching Percy, who carded the low round of the day with a 64. Alex Cejka finished solo third at 11-under, while Heath Slocum and Paul Stankowski tied for fourth at 10-under.
This marked the sixth playoff of the 2025 season, the second consecutive playoff finish at this event, and just the third playoff in the tournament’s history.
