DraftKings Odds

Moneyline: Blues -180, Red Wings +150

Total: 5.5 (over -125, under +105)

Blues Go For Ten Straight

The St. Louis Blues look to extend their winning streak to ten games when they meet the Detroit Red Wings tonight at Enterprise Center.

With a victory this evening, the Blues can also pass the Minnesota Wild in the standings for the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference

Blues Heavy Playoff Favorite

The Blues are coming off one of their most impressive performances of the season in winning at Colorado 2-1 in a playoff-like atmosphere this past Saturday. It was the sixth time the Blues allowed only one goal during this nine-game streak.

Overall, the Blues are now 16-2-2 over their last 20 games and have seen their odds to make the playoffs balloon up to -350 on DraftKings as of this morning.

Red Wings Slumping

The Red Wings are still battling to make the playoffs, as they sit three points back of a Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. However, Detroit struggled in the month of March with a record of 4-10-0.

Special teams may loom large in this game tonight. The Red Wings have the NHL’s third-best power play (28.8%), but they have the league’s worst penalty kill unit (68.5%).

My Pick

I’ve been cashing in on the Blues during this hot streak, so I’m not going to mess with the formula that’s working here.

I don’t like laying -180 on a moneyline, so I’m going to return to a Same Game Parlay on DraftKings where I can combine the Blues to win with a player prop that is very likely to hit. It’s essentially like turning in a coupon to get a better price on the moneyline.

Jordan Kyrou has recorded at least two shots on goal in 7 straight games and in 12 of his last 13. Overall for the season if you bet Kyrou to get two shots on goal, you’d be 58-17 (77.3%).

So let’s combine the Blues to win with Kyrou recording two shots on goal, and you get a nice plus money price. This Blues team is a cash cow right now, and I fully expect them to make it ten consecutive wins tonight.

Pick: Same Game Parlay priced at +112 on DraftKings - Blues on the moneyline and Jordan Kyrou to record at least two shots on goal (bet up to +100)
