Something has got to give here with both these teams playing at such an elite level.
I figured the Avalanche would be a good-sized favorite around -150, so seeing them over -200 is stunning to me. As of the time of this writing, both the public and the sharps are absolutely hammering Colorado. The Avs have gotten 92% of the bets and 96% of the money from the betting market.
The reason the Avalanche are 12-1-1 over their last 14 instead of 13-1-1 over their last 15 is because the Blues beat them in their last meeting.
I told myself I’m going to ride this Blues winning streak until it dies, so I’m willing to go down with the ship here and bet on them to pull the upset.
