Moneyline: Kings -115, Blues -105

Total: 5.5 (over -120, under +100)

Blues Return Home Red Hot

The St. Louis Blues will attempt to win their fourth straight game on Saturday when they welcome the Los Angeles Kings to Enterprise Center.

The Blues are riding a three-game winning for the first time all season after upsetting Washington 5-2 on Thursday. They are just three points behind Vancouver for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, but with Calgary and Utah still ahead of them in the standings, the Blues are still +900 to make the playoffs on DraftKings.

Blues In Great Goal-Scoring Form

The Blues are in red-hot form offensively with 24 goals scored over their last five games. But theyโ€™ll be challenged on Saturday against the Kings, who have allowed the second fewest goals in the NHL.

The under has been a profitable bet in Blues games this season, with the under posting a record of 31-25-4. Their games also tend to go under when they are playing at home and when they are an underdog like it appears they will be on Saturday. The under cashes at a 62% clip when the Blues are at home and a 61% rate when they are a dog.

Kings Poor On Road

The Kings have been struggling on the road lately with losses in nine of their last twelve games away from home. It is also going to be the second game of a back-to-back with Los Angeles playing at Dallas on Friday night.

The Kings have also been a profitable under team, as the under has cashed in 58% of their games. The under advantage is even more pronounced on the road where the under has hit at a 64% clip.

My Pick

The Blues are scoring in bunches lately, but Iโ€™m going to fade it and bet the under in this spot. The Kings are a fantastic defensive team, and Jordan Binnington is still in top form as well after the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Quite frankly, my reads on Blues games have been off lately. So fade me if you wish! But I think the Blues come away with a hard-fought win in the neighborhood of a 3-2 score line.

Pick: Under 5.5 at +100 on DraftKings (take up to -110)
