Ryan Fagan

Fagan has voted for the Baseball Hall of Fame nine times, which feels impossible for a kid who grew up in suburban St. Louis. He's been a BBWAA member since 2007 (yeah, he's the guy who gives away packs of Junk Wax-era baseball cards at Busch Stadium). In his 18 years with The Sporting News, Fagan covered the World Series 11 times and the NCAA Tournament a dozen times, including five trips to the Final Four. Now a regular MLB contributor for Opta Analyst baseball analytics site, along with freelance jobs writing for PSA Magazine, Charlotte Magazine and numerous other publications. Fagan loves his full-time job telling success stories about students, faculty members and alumni at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
