Brenden has been writing and broadcasting about sports since 2015. He started out covering prep sports at the Columbia Daily Tribune -- everything from Southern Boone soccer to Michael Porter Jr.’s state championship run at Tolton.
After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2016 (MIZ, baby), Brenden got his foot in the door in St. Louis sports radio and began covering the Cardinals as a writer for KMOV later that year. Since 2021, he has co-hosted 'The Big Show' on KTGR in Columbia, Mo.
Brenden has had boots on the ground covering major sporting events including Cardinals spring training, the MLB Postseason, MLB at Rickwood Field, NHL Winter Classic, Stanley Cup Final, PGA Championship, Arch Madness, SEC and NCAA Tournament and Missouri Tigers football.
Away from the ballpark, Brenden is in a weekly bowling league and enjoys playing disc golf. He wants to get better at regular golf, too, but he’s still not completely sure whether he’s a lefty or a righty for that sport.
